Get Satisfaction!
Oh My Gods! just got it’s own Get Satisfaction site! Huzzah! Now simply go to getsatisfaction.com/ohmygods to leave comments, feedback, suggestions, and whatever else you’d like! There is also a tab on the left called “Feedback” you can use, as well as a link in the menu on the right. So go for it! I’ll be checking it, so feel free to use it to help Oh My Gods! grow!
Deepest apologies for the vacation
Welcome back everyone! I see many faces I remember and tons more new to me! Welcome back veterans and glad to have you newbies!
My deepest apologies for the strip’s long vacation. To not get into much detail, thankfully my feet are back underneath me again and I’m hopefully in a place where I can create the strip on a regular basis again. Currently there is a (huge) void in the strip (from August 4th to November 3rd) – I will try to refill this with content, but I do not want to promise what I am unsure I can deliver. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!
In the Works - Oh My Gods! Hardcover
While it's not ready to be finalized yet, I wanted to let all you lovely fans know about a special project I am working on. I am going to create an Oh My Gods! Special Edition Hard Cover book of the first Five Years of the strip. It will be pretty! It will be fantastic! It will (sadly) also be very expensive! However, I know there will be at least one customer (me) and perhaps maybe more!
Just wanted to give you all a tease!
2000 Strips!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been this long. I’ve officially now done 2000 strips. It doesn’t feel that long, and frankly, it’s kind of weird to think that I’ve created something 2000 times. In the end, though, I am very thankful to have such a great audience who has stuck with the strip for so long, and to have new readers each and every day! Here’s to the next 2000!

Not his fault. That add block is controled by Goggle not Shivian. I read a couple of other online comics that have the same problem. It's either the ads or having Shivian pay out pocket for the bandwidth, or sell memberships and make this a members only strip.

ok well.
i finally managed to get caught up. it only took a week between the strip the comments and signing up and leaving my own comments. :) not bad. and now i can read just a few at a time again. lol
...now if only there were more recent ones. its been almost 2 months.

As an official note
As an official note, the rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.
I am busy, but more-over, I was working to get a better professional endeavor, and when I stress over stuff like paying bills and making sure I can eat next week – my funny tends to goes away.
Fear not, I’m already working on new strips, and yes, everything will be updated accordingly. It might not be overnight (it is a LOT to catch up on) but it WILL happen :-D

I knew my "OMGs! is dead" posting would get a response. Mjollnir strikes!
But what were we to think when the current comic is August 4 with way too many unrequited comments and the last item in the "News" link was about the 2000th strip?
Actually, it was about this site being dead, not Shivian. He had a Twitter item about cleaning out 500 some odd items from his 600 some odd item mail list or something. You gotta have some kind of life energy to do that. :-)
